District 67 Art Show 2008
Each year wonderful and fanciful art work is created by students of District 67 and displayed at the Lake Forest Public Library during the annual District 67 Art Show.

Here is a short video (4:45) which spotlights just some of the exceptional art work you will enjoy at this year’s show.

Hope to see you there!

Voices of The World

We have just completed our second activity for the Voices of the World project. The task was to create and Animoto slideshow featuring original artwork, nicely supplied by our fourth graders, coupled with a student performed version of our national anthem.

This project was a cross-district activity of sorts because the sound track was performed by Mr. Koch and his son, Matthew, who attends Lake Bluff Middle School.

Click here to go to the Voices of the World showcase page. Not only will you see our version but you can also see and hear projects sent in from other countries.

Second Grade Turkey Projects
Ms. Tkachuk has been busy firing up those Thanksgiving turkeys with the help of her second grade artists. We decided it would be fun to create some short Animoto videos to spotlight their work – each with a different “turkey” themed music soundtrack.
